Mortgage Interest Rates Hit 3-Month Low!
Great news for home mortgage shoppers as Freddie Mac announced that the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.60%! Builder Online covered the news saying:
"A year ago this time, the 30-year FRM averaged at 4.45%.
The 15-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.04% [in the last week of January 2020]. A year ago this time, the 15-year FRM averaged 3.88%."
Interest rates are near all-time lows helping home shoppers of new construction homes and home sales.
