Briar Chapel’s Holiday To-Dos
Christmas in and around Chapel Hill is filled with ornamental occasions and wintry wonder. Sled through these festivities during this year’s holiday season.
Briar Chapel Holiday Events
On Saturday, December 12, Santa is “zooming” to Briar Chapel early for a virtual time with all of the good girls and boys in our neighborhood. Pajamas are highly encouraged. Sign up links to come!
We foresee an entertainment extravaganza coming to Briar Chapel on December 9 at 7 p.m. Exclusively available to Briar Chapel residents, third generation psychic Micheal Gutenplan is coming to perform, predict and amaze.
Embrace the spirit of giving this year and stop by the Briar Club porch with a few of your favorite food items for the CORA food pantry. Donation pick up is scheduled for December 18 at 9 a.m. Here are a few donation suggestions:
Festivities for the Foodies
Calling all caffeine enthusiasts! This month’s food truck lineup includes cups on cups of coffee from a few of our favorite shops.
- Roasted & Toasted: December 9 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and December 16 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Three Waters Cafe: December 13 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m and December 20 from 11 a.m - 1 p.m.
Gear up for great grub this month! Stop by Great Meadow Park for a taste.
- Cue Burger: December 11 from 5 - 8 p.m.
- NC Bulkogi: December 18 from 5 - 8 p.m.
Wholesome Holiday Happenings
Feel like taking a festive and scenic drive with your favorite people? Fieldstream Farm Lights is showcasing lovely LEDs for your viewing pleasure. The light show takes place every night from November 21 - December 31. Hill Ridge Farms is also hosting a holiday light spectacular throughout this season.
Searching for a fun afternoon endeavor? Look no further! The Jolly Raleigh Scavenger Hunt is a self-guided, seasonally themed scavenger hunt around Raleigh. This activity can be completed in any order and at any time between December 1-12 from 2-7 p.m. daily.

Enjoy your favorite holiday films from your car for free with Bull City Reels on Wheels, but make sure to reserve a spot before they fill up! Festive Flix Drive-In Holiday Movies is also offering holiday-themed movies for only $5 a vehicle.
